I received a female pup from Elk Haven’s 2024 litter and am beyond impressed with her temperament, health and conformation. As my second Brittany, but first from this breeder, Leeloo has exceeded my expectations in every way. She is gorgeous (I hear this at least once a week while we’re out and about), incredibly friendly, very eager to please and has a fantastic toy drive (we do not hunt). Although originally spoken for, Sandy decided Leeloo would not be the best fit for a hunting home, which worked out wonderfully for us. That spoke volumes to me about the type of breeder Sandy is, one that cares deeply about the right home for the pup and puts the pup’s best interests first and foremost. Sandy was wonderful from our first conversation, and is such a genuinely kind person. Her pups are raised in a lively and busy household, so Leeloo’s transition to her new home was so easy. Sandy welcomed my adult Brittany to come meet Leeloo so I could decide if they would be a good fit. Due to my circumstances and the timing of the litter, the soonest I could take Leeloo home was at 11 weeks old. Sandy not only very kindly kept Leeloo until I was ready, she asked what type of crate I would be using so she could start her crate training. This resulted in Leeloo being fully crate and potty trained when I took her home (and she slept through the night no problem). In typical Brittany fashion, she is an incredible athlete already at 11 months, but also has a good off switch inside and is such a cuddle bug. I look forward to trying different dog sports with her, starting with flyball this winter.
Leeloo is such a healthy and happy pup, and I am so grateful to Sandy for all of her support. I truly believe Elk Haven Brittanys is the standard all breeders should strive for, and I cannot recommend Sandy enough.

Scout is almost a year now and he brings us lots of joy. He has many beautiful qualities, loves to be included in everything we do and is extremely affectionate.
